Ilya Karpinsky is the Mail.Ru Games Ventures Director (an investment division of Mail.Ru Group which provides support to promising companies and projects within gaming industry). He is holds the position of Deputy Head of the Games Division. A member of the Expert Gaming Industry Council, which primary focuses on creating favorable conditions for the development of the Russian gaming industry. Ilya joined the Mail.Ru Group team in April 2012 as the Head of External Development department. Before that, he was at the helm of the Russian gaming company Nival Network, where he had worked since 2005. Ilya founded Hobby World, the largest board game publishing company in the CIS region. He graduated from the Moscow State Law University.
