An annual presentation of the 27th International Advertising Festival Red Apple will be held in mid-August in Bessonnitsa on Red October. Participants of the festival, advertising and marketing industry professionals and creative community representatives will meet on the summer veranda to find out what surprises Red Apple has prepared.
This year the festival will be held twice: one has already taken place in February, and the next is scheduled from 7 to 8 of December 2017, and this means the beginning of major changes. Red Apple will grow twice: firstly, it will take two sites at once: Digital October and Deworkacy on Red October; and secondly, the festival program will be supplemented by practical sections - intensive courses, master classes and workshops. A two-day intensive course from one of the most famous schools of interactive communications in the world will be a cherry on top. More information about the course will also be described in detail at the presentation of the festival.
This year for the first time the program of the festival will be supervised by a program committee including recognised experts in the advertising industry. They will prompt the most relevant topics, find the brightest speakers and come up with fresh formats for the festival sections. The program committee will be presented to the general public by the Festival President Ella Stewart.
Changes were made to the competitive program, which was supplemented by two new categories: "Data use" and "Interactive advertising (kraft)". Now you can compete for the victory at the festival in 20 categories. The general director of the festival Valentin Smolyakov will tell more about new categories.
The international jury of the Red Apple will also be represented at the presentation. Traditionally, the list of the festival jury includes world leaders in the creative industry, laureates of prestigious advertising awards, marked by The Gunn Report.
The third important part of the presentation is the corporate style of the festival. The creative director of the BBDO Group agency and the creator of Red Apple’s identity, Alexander Zagorsky will present the upcoming update, which will add freshness and brightness to the festival.
The official part will smoothly flow into AdBusters party, where the resident of the legendary Moscow club THE ROOF OF THE WORLD — DJ Nils will play his fire set, and the electronic duo The Yoz aka composer and producer Alexey Obraztsov and the fabulous singer Zonda will perform.
The presentation will take place in the nightclub Bessonnitsa at Bolotnaya embankment 11, building 1. Guests are invited to gather for a welcome cocktail at 18:30, and at 19:30 the official part starts.
