Benjamin Vendramin

Global Chief Creative and Content Officer, EssenceMediacom, USA

Benjamin’s career spans North America, from creative and entertainment companies to media agencies, including McCann, Taxi, TBWA\Chiat\Day, JWT, WP Narrative, and MediaCom.

In 2018, he joined MediaCom (now EssenceMediacom) with the fundamental belief that audiences do not delineate between media and creative—and neither should we.

By reshaping the agency’s creative model and integrating media with entertainment and sports partnerships, content, creative, and social/influencer teams, the agency won numerous industry awards, including Cannes Lions, and was recognized by WARC as the most creative media agency in the world for two consecutive years. Additionally, MediaCom was named Adweek’s Global Media Agency of the Year two years in a row.

Prior to EssenceMediacom, Benjamin held creative leadership roles at WP Narrative—where, in just two years, the agency was awarded Small Agency Of The Year at the Shorty Awards—and at McCann, where his concept for MGM Resorts won five Cannes Lions and was shortlisted for the coveted Titanium Lion.

While at McCann, he also wrote and directed his first film, The Greatest Action Movie Ever, as part of an immersive social platform. The movie was sold to Disney, premiered nationwide, and won at SXSW.

Benjamin has served on juries for some of the world’s most prestigious award shows, including the Clio Awards, London International Awards (LIA), Webby Awards, Effie Awards, Communication Arts Awards, Campaign BIG Global Awards, The New York Festivals, Dubai Lynx, Digiday Awards, and the ANA Reggie Awards.
