Mikhail started to work in advertising business in 1991. He has worked as a Creative Director at DMB&B agency (later - D'Arcy) since its foundation.

In 2003 he became a Creative Director of Leo Burnett Moscow, and then, in 2012 – Executive Creative Director of Leo Burnett Group Russia.

In 2011, his work "Make it" for Lego received the Gold Cannes Lion. In 2013, his works "A ring for luck" for McDonald's and "Banknotes" for Leroy Merlin, which were created by a creative team under the leadership of Mikhail, brought two Bronze Cannes Lions. Many of his works have been awarded by such prestigious festivals as Eurobest, Epica, Golden Drum, Globes Awards, Cristal, Golden Hammer, Red Apple, KMFR and others.

He was repeatedly on the jury of festivals such as Eurobest, Golden Drum, ADC, Idea!, MMFR, KMFR and others.

Over the years, Mikhail has worked with clients such as Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, MegaFon, MTS, Rostelecom, Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Gazpromneft, Kellogg's, General Motors, Mars, Leroy Merlin, Media Markt, Chrysler Rus, Sadi Pridonya , Arla Foods, Ehrmann, Moscow-Efes and many others.
