RUXANDRA PAPUC
A journalism student, Ruxandra has started working in advertising as a copywriter in 2009. In 2014 she joined McCann Bucharest and, only three years later, she was named Group Creative Director on both local and global accounts, including Vodafone, the company’s biggest local brand, on which she’d had already developed award winning work of global success.
Her work has been awarded in shows like Cannes Lions, Eurobest, One Show, Andy and many others, including AICP which has sent her work straight to the film archives of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
As a speaker, she has been an advocate for women leadership internationally with Cannes Lions’ See it, be it and locally through the ADC*RO project Lady Steps. She is also a constant friend of the Advertising University in Bucharest and never steps back from sharing her knowledge on an open stage in front of students, proffesors and fellow advertisers all together.
She is no stranger to writing and has articles published for Vice Romania and other national magazines. She has been named Best Young Creative in Europe by the Art Directors Club of Europe and she is now one of McCann’s youngest creative directors
