Benjamin Dessagne
Benjamin’s advertising career started as a copywriter at DDB Paris in 2003 where he stayed 4 years. He briefly moved to Duke Razorfish, and then joined Grey Paris in 2008.
In 2010, he got hired by Chris Garbutt at Ogilvy Paris to work on Ford, Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Google, Europcar and Duracell.
In 2013, he helped shape Ogilvy Paris to become the most Awarded French agency in Cannes Lions history, Agency of the year at D&AD at the One show.
In 2014, his campaign for Google+ «same sex marriage» won 7 Webby Awards (still a record), which allowed Ogilvy Paris to be “agency of the year” at the festival.
Later the same year, he joined the independent agency BUZZMAN, to work on Ikea, Burger King, Puma, Brandt, among others.
In 2016, he was awarded by the “French Art Director Club” as “Creative of the Year”.
In 2017 his campaign Burger King #whoistheking was ranked N°1 on the Gunn Report "Cases for creativity" 2016, which reward campaigns that both won Cannes and Effie Golds.
In October 2017 he moved to CLM BBDO as creative director on brands such UBISOFT, Mars International (Snickers, M&M's, Pedigree...) , FORD…among other brands.
In 2018, he became Co-Executive Creative Director with his longtime partner, Stephane Santana.
Benjamin has won more than 150 national & international awards in all major festivals.
D&AD, Clios, One Show, Webbies, LIAA, Eurobest, New York Festival, Cristal… including 14 Cannes Lions, with 3 golds.
Most importantly, he’s the proud father of a 9 yo (and a half) little girl.
This year Benjamin will be a President of Red Apple Marketing Jury
