Matias Menendez

Executive Creative Director, Africa Brazil

Matias was born in La Plata city, Argentina. He began his advertising career in Argentina at La Comunidad as a creative/art director. After 3 years he moved to Madre Buenos Aires.

At Madre he was part of the team who relaunched Lucchetti, an Argentinian food brand. The campaign was such a success that it became one of the most loved campaigns on past years.

At Mother NY he was part of the team who created Blinkwashing, an innovative and interactive campaign in youtube for Virgin Mobile. Media all around the world talked about it. He also helped Target to create the biggest fashion cinemagraph installation with influencers all around U.S.

After three years in NY, he moved to São Paulo, Brazil to work at Africa agency, where he has been working for Budweiser and Brahma since then. At Africa he received more than 20 international awards including a Grand Prix at Cannes in 2018. He also helped Africa become the best agency at El Ojo de Iberoamerica 2017 and become the best Brasilian Agency at Cannes 2018.
