Activation / B2C

In this category creative approach to integrated brand building through the advanced use of promotional activities, retail, customer experience design and full engagement with the product are being judged. Works should show how the customer's perception of the brand and the optimization of customer touch points have led to increased brand appeal and improved commercial performance. Judging criteria: 20% idea; 20% strategy; 30% execution; 30% results

Subcategories:

Includes the activities involving communication with the customer: samplings, contests, coupons, discounts, gifts, giveaway, etc.

Awarded to the campaigns that effectively broadcast brand experience to the target audience via executions such as static events, exhibitions, pop-up stores, in-store / dealer / reseller activities, shopping centre / mall activities, brand activations using guerrilla marketing, street teams, publicity stunts, etc. Jury will also review campaigns that use sponsorship as its core awareness platform

Entries in these category must focus on brand experience and activations that took place within a retail environment, and that generate sales in any industry sector

Awarded to a campaign which integrates at least two of the following marketing disciplines such as: lottery, game of skill, loyalty, digital, internet, experiential, event, public relations, product sampling, sponsorship, tie-ins, product licencing, mobile, social marketing, word of mouth, etc. to effectively market a product or service

Direct marketing operations aimed primarily at the general public (including CRM) to build a personalized contact or increase loyalty

Campaigns that generate or maximize consumer's loyalty to a market. If the campaign is long-termed, results need to be included for the current calendar year

Advertising campaigns with social purpose at the heart. Entrants should be a charity, non-profit organisation or government body. Brands may also enter, if they can demonstrate how they worked in partnership with a charity or non-profit cause or organisation

The strategy in the implementation of the marketing campaign is evaluated. Judging criteria: 25% idea; 50% strategy; 25% results

Technical requirements:

To participate in the competition, works are accepted that were implemented by the agency and / or the advertiser (brand) in the period from January 1, 2023 to September 1, 2024, but have not participated in Red Apple before

Deadline for submission of works - September 20, 2024

Mandatory requirement - work is accepted in English

Work upload format:

1. Application in English

- all fields of the application are required;

2. Video case (required):

- in English or with English subtitles;

- a link to a video (YouTube or Vimeo), a resolution of at least 720p (preferably 1080p);

- video duration no more than 2 minutes;

3. Project URL 

4. PDF presentation (preferred):

- no more than 15 slides

- aspect ratio 16: 9

5. Presentation board (optional):

- an image with key visual elements of the project and its description, .jpg, .png file (with a width of at least 1772 pixels, a resolution of at least 150 DPI)

- file size no more than 75 MB

Attention! It is forbidden to place the logo or the name of the agency in the work, including in the link, the name of the channel on the video hosting or in the name of the file. Jobs violating this rule will be disqualified.

Access to the material uploaded by the participants has: the organizing committee and members of the Jury.

A fragment of the video case can be used (can be displayed on the screen) during the award ceremony.
