J.P Idama is the creative director of The Hook Creative Agency. 

JP thinks for a living and executes some of his ideas as a hobby. His thoughts over the years have proven to be bold enough to generate radical and award-winning marketing campaigns, fun enough to inspire relaxation, and on many occasions, follow and create trends. 

His audacity as a young marketing expert has earned him many first including the Best Digital Campaign at the Young Lions competition (2021), as well as the youngest lecturer in the history of 02 Academy Lagos, where he has trained and mentored over 200 students in copywriting and content creation since 2019 and most recently the position of first non-partner Creative Director at The Hook Creative Agency and youngest Creative Director in Nigeria.

JP has worked with a variety of brands from various sectors over the course of his advertising career, including Airtel Nigeria, Johnnie Walker, Orijin, NNPC, Oando Plc, Leadway Group, Meristem, Fidelity Bank, P&G, Baywood, Reckitt Benckiser, Johnson and Johnson, Lush Hair and many others.
