Cihan Kavaklıpınar

Founder & Creative Chairman, CIAN.İstanbul, Turkey

Cihan Kavaklıpınar is a Turkish creative leader with more than 20 years of experience in the advertising industry. As Founder & Creative Chairman of CIAN.İSTANBUL, he oversees agency management and leads creative development alongside the agency’s Creative Directors.

A graduate of Galatasaray University’s Faculty of Communication, he has held senior creative positions at leading global network agencies including Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Havas, McCann, and Cheil. In 2022, he founded CIAN.İSTANBUL, an agency built around the concept of Intuitive Advertising, and co-founded Magician Production.

Throughout his career, Cihan has created campaigns for major brands such as Raffles Hotels, Sixt Rent A Car, Vestel, and Altınbaş Jewellery. His work has earned more than 500 awards, including 18 Effie Awards, making him one of Türkiye’s most awarded creatives. In 2025, he also received two Silver Awards at the Luum Awards.

He has served as a jury member at international festivals including ADCE Awards, Luum Awards, and Felis Awards. Alongside his agency work, he lectures at universities and actively participates in the industry as a speaker, jury member, and jury president. He also serves on the board of the Advertising Creatives Association of Türkiye.
