Mauricio Meza Bustamante is a communicator and publicist with extensive experience in advertising, marketing, and strategic communications across ATL, BTL, digital, and internal communication. As Founder & Creative Director of The Big Ideas Co., he leads business management, communication strategy development, and the creation of integrated campaigns for brands such as Invetsa, Almacenes Santa Clara, and Damas de Rojo.

With an international career spanning Peru and Mexico, Mauricio has developed communication strategies and creative campaigns for local and regional brands across the Andean Region, Central America, and the Caribbean. Prior to founding The Big Ideas Co., he held key creative positions at agencies including Cafeina, Saatchi & Saatchi Mexico, and Quorum, strengthening his multidisciplinary and regionally informed approach to advertising.

Throughout his career, Mauricio’s work has been recognized by major international festivals, including Cannes Lions, London International Awards, New York Festivals, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, Círculo de Oro México, and WINA Festival, among others.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mauricio is also an educator and member of the faculty at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC), where he teaches Advertising Copywriting in the Communication and Advertising program, contributing to the development of future industry talent.
