Juan is a renowned Colombian creative leader. He is a professional in advertising, specializing in strategic creativity from the Central University.
With over 20 years of comprehensive experience working across different disciplines in the industry (ATL, BTL, CRM, and Digital), he has stood out as one of the country's best creative writers and conceptualizers, responsible for a significant number of globally awarded and memorable ideas.
He has worked in prominent agencies such as Hugo Vazquez Associates, Leo Burnett, Rabinovici & Associates, Wunderman, Euro, Ogilvy Colombia and Peru, DDB, McCann, Grey Colombia and VML Colombia where he currently holds the position of Vice President Creative.
Thanks to his work and that of his teams, he has achieved over 400 local and international creativity awards, including 11 Cannes Lions, Grand Prix at LiaAwards, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Communications Arts, Campaign, and Effie, as well as multiple awards at OneShow, Clio, D&AD, Fiap, ElDorado, Antigua Festival, Sol de Iberoamerica, Amauta, and Nova. Juan has also served as a judge at D&AD, Ojo de Iberoamerica, Effie Latam, Tatakua, and other festivals, has participated as a speaker in various advertising events, and has been a teacher at some universities in the country.
