Jairo Lezaca
He has been working as a copywriter for more than 20 years in various creative departments in countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico.
For 12 years he has led the creative departments of Publicis Colombia, DDB Ecuador, Publicis and MullenLowe Ecuador and since March 2021 he is the Chief Creative Officer of HOY México by Havas.
During his more than 20 years of experience he has worked with brands such as Renault, NESCAFÉ, Citibank, Purina DogChow, Imusa, Seguros Bolívar, McDonald's, Toyota, Telefónica Movistar, MAGGI, Heineken, NIDO, Nike, Cinemark, Cabify, Vanish, AirWick, Morris Garage, Vans and Cinepolis.
His work has been awarded at festivals such as D&AD (United Kingdom), El Ojo de Iberoamérica (Argentina), EL SOL (Spain), FIAP (Argentina), Círculo de Oro (Mexico) and ElDorado (Colombia) and Effie Awards; not counting the more than 14 finalists that he has had in Cannes Lions in categories such as Film, Press, Outdoor, Radio and Media.
Throughout his career he has been a judge at such prestigious festivals as EL SOL, New York Festivals, FIAP, Wave in Rio, Effie and El Ojo de Iberoamérica where he was President of the Jury in 2012.
