Kalpesh began his career with Saatchi & Saatchi Mumbai in June 2000 and within a short span was ranked No.1 creative in India by Campaign Brief Asia. After being with McCann Malaysia and Ogilvy Singapore, he moved to Dubai and has been instrumental in turning the creative spotlight in the region and helped Y&R Dubai to be most celebrated MENA agency for a decade.
In 2018 featured amongst Adweek Top 13 Global Agency Leaders rankings.
Today at Y&R MENA he heads the creative department. He leads with the mantra of being fearless and honest. From Harvey Nichols and Land Rover to Coca-Cola Kal’s work has been recognized by top international and regional award shows including Cannes Lions where he helped secure Y&R EMEA as Regional Network of the Year in 2017 and helped ranked 4th most creative agency in 2013. Kal has judged at many of the industry’s most recognized award shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, LIA, Clio, NYF, ADC, Adfest and Loeries.
He is also a member of Y&R's Global Creative Board.
