In just two years Shehan has helped transform Triad into one of the most awarded creative agencies in Sri Lanka with over 50 international awards including 1 grand prix, 10 gold, 7 silver, MAA Globes, Effie Awards Sri Lanka and Epica Awards Sri Lanka. This transformation saw Triad win "South Asia Independent Agency of the Year 2021" at Campaign Agency of the Year Awards, a 1st for any agency in Sri Lanka.

Shehan has also been named the 1st Sri Lankan to be awarded "Global Strategic Planning Leader of the Year - Finalist" and "South Asia Strategic Brand Planner of the Year" in 2021 & 2020 Shehan has also been called upon to serve on numerous international juries ranging from Effie APAC, Effie South Africa, Cresta Awards, AD Stars and NewYorkFestivals and will also be judging the prestigious Agency of the Year Global Awards in 2023
